Photographer Madi Ellis wanted a logo and drawings for a rebranding of her photography business which primarily focuses on engagement and weddings. Her logo ask was too included a circular branch and having her name written in script. You can find the final logo and drawings on Madi's website at this link.
Sketches
The logo sketches included using calligraphy to experiment with different lettering
treatments in scripts. I also explored using Madi's initials instead of her full name
and playing with the idea of the branch as a container.
Final result
Madi decided on having her name is lower case in modern calligraphy
with a branch and the words "photography" all incased in an invisible circle.

Branded Drawings
The drawings needed to follow the same line weight and modernist nature of the logo. Madi and myself spent many rounds of going through various sketches until we reached eight final illustrations.
