Routine is a silent graphic novel created in 2022. I am curious about many mediums of art, one being graphic novels and the other non traditional narrative. Routine is a simple story, my life living in Manhattan, NY during the worse of the pandemic dealing with anxiety and hearing.
I used my hearing loss, when my cochlear implants are in and out, as a drawing system to demonstrate when my ears were in/out.
Another system, "if then, then that" was utilize to explore the tug and pull I feel between different dimensions (anxiety and the unreal/real, hearing/not hearing)
