I have designed several products of SolutioNerd, a company that emphasizes everything tape. Working closely with the owner, I illustrated, designed, and prepped files for printing following the product/s template.
Blacklight Tape
When SolutioNerd asked for a "neon tape design," called Blacklight Tape, I decided to have fun and made it based around a magical unicorn. The target audience was for children and adults who may want to use neon tape for a party. The tape is also blacklight, so the image of colors vibrating through darkness was an important concept to illustrate.
I did many sketches and research on how to make the unicorn visual prominent in a fresh and modern take related to black tape somehow.
Clingy Tape
Another project for SolutioNerd was a tape specifically for plumbing leaks called Clingy Tape. The owner wanted a woman chasing after a man, and I challenged him to replace this stereotype by replacing the humans with penguins.
